Digital transformation for SMBsin Paris and Île-de-France

I'm Amina Ouadday, an engineer turned digital consultant, based between Paris and Kinshasa. I support SMBs on their digital transformation: high-performance Next.js websites, N8N automation, SEO/GEO, operational AI, custom CRM. In Paris and Île-de-France, I travel on demand for diagnosis and handover. Elsewhere, fully remote.

Amina Ouadday, digital consultant in Paris

// The Paris context

The Paris digital market is saturated. But saturated with generic agencies.

In Paris, SMBs choose between three profiles: large agencies with heavy structures and €30,000 quotes for a showcase site, young freelances who deliver fast but without thought-through architecture, and generic SaaS that force you to bend your operations to their tool. None precisely fits SMBs who want a clean, durable, process-calibrated deliverable.

My background is designed to fill this gap: Polytech Paris (Sorbonne), 4 years in Peugeot Citroën R&D on concept-car HMIs, then ex-CIO of a multi-business group in Madagascar, founder of TIA Jewelry. I'm a 360° engineer and project lead before being a developer. You get strategy, design and execution from the same person, without intermediaries diluting the brief.

// For whom

Which structures in Paris and Île-de-France

Growing service SMBs

Boutique consultancies, freelances, creative studios with 1 to 15 people whose ops start to break on free tools.

DTC and e-commerce brands

You sell online, want to break out of Shopify or consolidate a clean, fast, SEO-native multi-channel setup.

Law firms, CPAs, architects

You need a trust-building site, simple internal tools, and rigorous GDPR compliance for your clients.

Early-stage startups

Launching a product, need a clean MVP, a converting landing page, and a solid backend to handle first fundraising rounds.

NGOs and associations

You need a clear site for donors, simple program tracking, and a secure online donation module.

Established SMBs in late digitization

You've been around 15-30 years, still run a lot on Excel and email, want to modernize without breaking what works.

// Agency vs freelance vs SaaS

When to pick me, and when not to.

I'd rather point you to the right provider than sell you something that doesn't fit.

→ Choose me if...

  • You're a Paris-area SMB with 1-50 people, a precise project and a realistic budget.
  • You want a single point of contact from diagnosis to handover.
  • You need a durable, clean deliverable that outlives the provider.
  • You care about GDPR rigor and code ownership.

✓ An agency fits better if...

  • You're a large SMB or mid-market needing parallel teams (10+ simultaneous resources).
  • You have a formal RFP and need a "corporate-grade" provider (enterprise references).
  • Your project involves heavy 3D animation or advanced motion design.

+ A standard SaaS is enough if...

Your processes fit Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, HubSpot or Notion without pain, and you don't need code ownership. In that case I'll tell you honestly and can help configure the SaaS cleanly instead of selling you unnecessary custom work.

My first reflex is always to diagnose. If a SaaS is enough, I'll say so. If an agency fits better, I'll point you there. If custom genuinely serves you better, we'll build it together. The tool adapts to your need, not the other way around.

// You also operate in DRC?

Part of the year, I'm based in Kinshasa. I also support SMBs and NGOs in DRC, with an approach calibrated for local realities: mobile money, variable connection, teams familiar with Excel.

Everything you want to know before booking the call

Are you freelance or an agency?

+
I'm a **freelance consultant and independent engineer** (registered micro-entreprise in France), not an agency. In practice: I'm your single point of contact from diagnosis to delivery. No salesperson taking the brief, no project manager translating, no dev subcontracted across timezones. You talk to the person who codes, and who codes to the person who talks. That's exactly what justifies a 30 to 50 % lower budget than an equivalent Paris agency, without cutting quality. Legal status: French micro-entreprise, VAT-exempt up to €37,500 HT (art. 293 B CGI), clean invoicing, GDPR-native. You're working with a declared independent, not a hacked-up status.

Why work with you rather than a Paris agency?

+
Because I do all three roles (project manager, designer, developer) in one head. You save 30 to 50 % on the budget and gain coherence and execution speed. An agency bills three roles in parallel, with information loss at each handoff. The diagnosis, technical architecture, design and code are thought together, by the same person. No salesperson diluting, no project manager translating, no subcontracted dev.

How much does digital transformation cost for a Paris SMB?

+
Between €1,490 (first showcase site) and €30,000+ (complete custom CRM or advanced AI agent). Free 45-min diagnosis to identify where to start based on your budget. First performant showcase site: €1,490 to €4,990. First N8N workflow that pays back: €1,500 to €4,000. Full SEO audit: €990 to €2,490. Custom CRM: from €5,000. The free diagnosis identifies what returns the most quickly for your specific case.

Do you work only in Paris or anywhere in France?

+
I'm based between Paris and Kinshasa and work mostly remote. For Paris and Île-de-France clients, I travel on demand for diagnosis and training/handover phases. For clients outside IDF in France (Lyon, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lille, Strasbourg) or elsewhere (Belgium, French-speaking Switzerland, Luxembourg, Canada, francophone Africa), everything is done remotely with weekly sync points.

How do you guarantee GDPR compliance?

+
All my deliverables are GDPR-native: EU Vercel hosting, legal pages and privacy policy compliant with LCEN, cookie consent banner, documented processing register, EU subprocessors when possible (Brevo France, Stripe Ireland). For B2B small businesses, I also handle the minimum internal documentation (GDPR register, DPA with subprocessors).

What tools do you concretely master?

+
Web stack: Next.js + React + Firebase + Stripe. Automation: N8N + Make + Zapier. AI: Claude + GPT-4 + Mistral + RAG. Data: BigQuery + Looker Studio + GA4. SEO: Ahrefs + Search Console + Schema.org + AI Overviews. The breadth comes from my primary role being architecture, not a single tool. Design stack: Figma, Illustrator. For tools you don't use yet but could benefit from, I'll guide you without overcharging for the discovery.

Are your prices lower than an agency because you're alone?

+
Yes, about 30 to 50 % lower than an equivalent Paris agency. Not because I subcontract or cut quality, but because I remove three layers: the salesperson (you talk to me directly), project management (I'm my own project lead), and agency margin (I bill my actual time). You pay for the work, not the structure around it.

What if I want to hand the project to another provider later?

+
You own 100 % of the source code upon full payment. I deliver complete technical documentation: architecture, dependencies, deployment procedure, credentials, data schemas. Any Next.js or React developer can take over without continuity loss. Custom is designed to prevent lock-in, not create it.

What's your legal status and how does invoicing work?

+
French micro-entreprise, VAT-exempt (article 293 B of the CGI). Pre-tax invoices, payment in 30/60/10 % (upfront / delivery / handover). SEPA transfer or Stripe. Quote within 48 h. Invoices are pre-tax, no VAT collected. Standard payment in three installments: 30 % upfront, 60 % on delivery, 10 % at final handover. Contract e-signed before kickoff. No commitment before quote signature.
