Next.js (Vercel's framework) delivers a 95+ PageSpeed score by default: static pre-rendering, auto-optimized images, on-demand JavaScript, integrated global CDN. On a showcase site, the visitor sees first content in under one second, even on a 4G mobile. That's the difference between a converting site and a dropping one.

For a site that doesn't change daily, Next.js is faster, more secure, and cheaper long-term. For a very active blog where you want to write daily without touching code, I can plug in a headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful) or stay on WordPress if that's better for you.

Yes, natively. Will the site be editable without coding?
Yes, depending on your need. For light edits (text, images, prices), I can plug in a free headless CMS (Sanity, Tina) or Notion-as-CMS if your team already uses Notion. For more complex structures, I train you on the Git repo for minor edits, or offer a €49/month maintenance retainer for small changes.
How do you guarantee GDPR compliance?
Vercel EU hosting by default, legal pages and privacy policy compliant with LCEN, cookie consent banner (Axeptio or equivalent), contact forms respecting the consent legal basis, documented processing register. For e-commerce or client-area sites, I add the required minimum internal documentation (GDPR register, DPA with Stripe / Brevo subprocessors).
Who owns the site and the source code?
You, 100 %, upon full payment. The Git repo, domain, hosting, associated Stripe and Brevo accounts are in your name. I deliver complete technical documentation so another developer can take over without continuity loss. Custom is designed to prevent lock-in.

Can ChatGPT create my website?
ChatGPT can generate HTML/CSS/React code, but not a site that ranks or converts. Code is only part of a pro site's work. What makes the difference: strategy, design system, SEO/GEO, hosting, GDPR, business integrations, monitoring. My AI usage in my projects: ChatGPT, Claude and Mistral to accelerate code and generate first-draft content, but strategic choices (architecture, design, conversion, SEO) stay human. A 100 % AI-generated site delivers code but no business results. That's why a consultant who masters AI remains more cost-effective than an auto-generated site.
