Automation · Paris
Automating your processes,
once they're mapped.
As a process engineer, I automate the repetitive tasks of Paris SMBs: client follow-ups, HubSpot ↔ Notion sync, reporting, lead routing. But I always start by mapping the real process, who does what and where information gets lost, then I simplify it. The tool comes last, chosen for your needs and your data. First workflow in 3 to 6 weeks, from €1,500, gains estimated at the audit and measured after go-live.
The tool comes last
Pick the tool after the mapping, not before.
Most automation projects start with a tool. That's backwards: a tool plugged into a fuzzy process automates the fuzz. I first map the process as it really runs, remove the useless steps, then pick the tool that fits the need.
Often, the first automation already lives in your tools: HubSpot's native workflows, Notion automations, your mailbox rules. To connect a few tools together, Zapier or Make are enough.
Beyond a dozen workflows, with sensitive data or complex logic, I move to a self-hosted open-source tool in Europe, such as n8n, or to custom code. You own everything, with no subscription that climbs with volume.
According to the France Num 2025 Barometer, 69 % of French SMBs are equipped with invoicing software, yet many still handle client follow-ups manually. Exactly the kind of process to automate first.
Real use cases
4 example workflows, and what they cost.
HubSpot ↔ Notion sync
From €1,500Your HubSpot deals automatically appear in a Notion base (deal stage, amount, owner, next step). Any HubSpot change propagates near real-time. No more double data entry, reporting delays or manual CSV exports.
Multi-channel automated client follow-ups
From €2,000Unpaid invoices automatically trigger email + SMS reminders at D+7, D+15, D+30, personalized per client and amount. Reminders go out on time without anyone having to think about it, and admin time goes back to the team.
Intelligent inbound lead routing
From €3,000Each request from your form or email is AI-analyzed, classified by urgency and need type, then assigned to the right team member with a ready brief. Every lead gets an answer without waiting for someone to sort the inbox.
Automatic weekly multi-source reporting
From €2,500Every Monday morning, your KPIs are consolidated from Stripe, Google Analytics, your CRM and your accounting, then PDF-mailed to decision-makers. No more manual Excel files, no more late-night status prep.

Frequently asked
Everything you want to know about automation in Paris
Which automation tool should an SMB choose?
The one that fits the process once it is mapped, not the other way round. For a few simple automations, your tools' native features or Zapier are enough; Make to connect several tools without code; a self-hosted open-source tool or custom code once you have a dozen workflows, sensitive data or complex logic. Zapier is the simplest and the most expensive: its cost climbs fast with volume. Make is two to three times cheaper for the same usage. Self-hosted open source doesn't charge per execution and keeps your data at home. I pick the tool at the end of the diagnosis, with you, with figures.
How much does an automation delivered by a Paris consultant cost?
From €1,500 for a simple workflow. Hosting: €0 with your tools' native features, from €5/month for a self-hosted tool. Simple workflow (sync between 2 tools, automatic email reminders, Slack notifications): from €1,500. Medium workflow (conditional logic, 3-5 integrations, document parsing): from €4,000. Complex workflow (multi-step with AI, payment integration, real-time dashboard): from €8,000.
Can you connect HubSpot, Pipedrive or Notion to my other tools?
Yes, these are the most requested integrations by Paris SMBs. HubSpot: sync deals, contacts and stages with the rest of your tools. Pipedrive: automatic follow-ups, CRM updates from inbound emails, lead scoring. Notion: auto-reporting in a base, executive dashboard, synced project docs. I have set them up many times.
How long to deliver a first useful workflow?
Allow 3 to 6 weeks between the diagnosis and a first workflow in service. Phase 1 (mapping + spec) takes 1 to 2 weeks, phase 2 (build + tests + go-live) 2 to 4 weeks depending on complexity. It's a rough guide, not a deadline commitment: if your data needs cleaning or your processes are scattered, phase 1 takes longer, and I'll tell you at the diagnosis. You test in real conditions before production.
Where do we start if our processes aren't written down anywhere?
Right there: that's the case for most SMBs. The free express audit finds the 3 processes that cost you the most time. I then map them with the people who run them: who does what, with which tool, where information gets lost. We remove useless steps before automating anything. We don't automate chaos: we restructure it first.
Do we need to self-host our automations?
Not always. For a few light workflows, a cloud plan is enough. For a dozen workflows or more, sensitive data or high volumes, self-hosting is more cost-effective and easier to keep GDPR-compliant. I handle deployment on a server in Germany (GDPR), or on your own infrastructure if you prefer.
Does my data stay confidential?
Yes. Self-hosted, your data never leaves your infrastructure and access to connected tools is encrypted. In the cloud, I pick services hosted in Europe. I systematically document the processing chain for your GDPR register.
Can you train my team to maintain the workflows?
Yes, included in all my projects. Your teams learn to modify simple workflows (changing an email, adding a condition, plugging in a new tool) in 2-4 hours of training. For advanced maintenance, I offer a monthly retainer from €99/month or ad-hoc interventions.
What ROI can an SMB expect from an automation?
I don't promise a figure before looking at your process: the gain depends on volume, the time spent today and the state of your data. That's what the free express audit is for: together we estimate what the process costs you today (hours, errors, missed follow-ups) and what a workflow can give back. If the gain doesn't justify the cost, I'll tell you. After go-live, we measure before and after. Two measured results on delivered projects: • Customer support for an e-commerce brand: response time down from 8h to 30 min, 70% of requests handled without human intervention • Mobility startup: preparing next-day rides down from 1h a day to 0 min
